Lily's Garden McLaren Vale Shiraz
Wine
Two Hands Wines Lily's Garden McLaren Vale Shiraz is made with a selection of Shiraz parcels from across the winery's McLaren Vale vineyards. Each is influenced by the region's close proximity to the sea.
Lily's Garden Shiraz aims to reflect the region in which it is grown. Across the Garden Series, vinification is almost identical so the depiction of each location is clear.
The fruit is crushed to open fermenters. Regular pump overs during fermentation extract colour, flavour and tannins. The wine spends several weeks on skins.
The free run juice is drained off and the skins are pressed to the same tank. After settling, the wine is racked to American and French oak for malolactic fermentation and 18 months of maturation.
Deep red, Two Hands Wines Lily's Garden McLaren Vale Shiraz is full bodied with dark fruit flavours, lashings of spice and chewy tannins. Cellaring potential is 10 years.
