Chardonnay
Wine
Yering Station Chardonnay is a blend of Mendoza, P58, 76 and 95 clone grapes grown on the winery's Yarra Valley estate in grey loam soils over yellow clay.
The grapes are gently pressed to maximize their fruit core. The juice is barrel fermented with a mix of wild and cultured yeasts. It matures for 11 months in new and seasoned French oak. Partial lees stirring adds complexity and richness.
Pale green straw, Yering Station Chardonnay has a silken texture, its fine acidity delivering balance and length. Cellaring potential is four years.
