Art Series Sauvignon Blanc

Leeuwin Estate Art Series Sauvignon Blanc is grown on the estate's lower, cooler slopes, where the grapes ripen more slowly and retain more flavour and natural acidity.

The fruit is crushed and destemmed. Brief skins contact builds texture before the juice is pressed to tank, cold settled and inoculated with cultured yeasts. Half is then fermented in seasoned French oak barrels.

The wine remains in barrel for four months to age on lees. It is then blended with the tank fermented portion. The blend is cold stabilized and bottled prior to release.

Pale straw, Leeuwin Estate Art Series Sauvignon Blanc is delicately layered with bright fruit flavours and an acidic spine. Cellaring potential is seven years.
