Cherubino Frankland River Cabernet Sauvignon

Larry Cherubino Wines Cherubino Frankland River Cabernet Sauvignon is made with the best performing parcels of fruit from the estate's Riversdale Vineyard at Frankland River.

The site is a south facing slope of red loam planted in 1996. All the vines are Houghton clone Cabernet, planted on their own rootstock and harvested by hand.

The fruit is cooled overnight and hand sorted for fermentation. The wine macerates on skins for six weeks with minimal pump overs. It is then pressed to tank. After settling for seven days, it is sent to oak barrels to mature.

Inky red, Larry Cherubino Wines Cherubino Frankland River Cabernet Sauvignon has sumptuous blackberry and juicy plum flavours, integrated oak and very fine tannins.

It is destined for a long life. Cellaring potential is 15 years.
