Dry White Wine No. 1

Yarra Yering Dry White Wine No. 1 is typically 85% Semillon and 15% Sauvignon Blanc. The vines are dry grown in a Yarra Yering vineyard planted in the 1990s.

The grapes are hand harvested and crushed to encourage skin contact, which extracts flavour and lends texture. They are then basket pressed with minimal settling time before being transferred.

Both primary and malolactic fermentation take place in seasoned French oak barrels. The wine is bottled after 11 months of maturation.

Yellow gold, Yarra Yering Dry White Wine No. 1 has a citrus backbone and a piercing acid tang driving through the taste. Cellaring potential is 10 years.
