Petit Lot Chardonnay

Windows Estate Petit Lot Chardonnay is grown on two blocks of the estate vineyard in Margaret River. The vineyard sits right on the border of Yallingup and Wilyabrup.

Selected from four different clones, the fruit has an extended ripening period, picking up minerality from the soil.

Handpicked and whole bunch pressed, the free run juice is wild fermented in French oak. A portion of the juice is left to undergo malolactic fermentation, producing a richer, creamy texture.

The wine is matured in barrel for 11 months with regular bâtonnage (stirring on lees).

Bright pale straw, Windows Estate Petit Lot Chardonnay has intense citrus flavours, perfect balance and a long mineral finish. Cellaring potential is seven years.
