Cabernet Franc
Wine
UMAMU Cabernet Franc is drawn from vines planted in 2001. The vines' open canopies allow gentle dappled light onto the fruit during the growing season.
The fruit is harvested at moderate ripeness, then each berry is slightly split before fermentation. After 10 days, the wine is pressed to second use French oak to mature for 10 months. It is then bottled and aged further prior to release.
Vibrant red purple, UMAMU Cabernet Franc is characterized by fragrant berry perfumes and supple tannins. Cellaring potential is five years.
