Reserve Shiraz
Wine
Tintilla Estate Reserve Shiraz is made with fruit harvested at night from a north-east sloping hillside in the Hunter Valley. The soils are red clay over limestone.
The grapes are cold soaked, then open fermented. Just before the ferment is complete, the wine is transferred to new and seasoned French and American oak barrels to finish the process. Malolactic fermentation and 12-15 months of maturation follow.
Deep purple, Tintilla Estate Reserve Shiraz has sweet dark berry flavours with lingering structural tannins. Cellaring potential is 10 years.
