Tupelo
Wine
Stargazer Tupelo is an unusual blend that mirrors the style of Gentil wines from Alsace in France, typically comprised of Pinot Gris, Riesling and Gewürztraminer.
All the fruit is hand harvested, destemmed and left in contact with skins for about eight hours. After gentle pressing, it ferments with wild yeasts. The wine then matures on lees for almost three months with regular stirring.
Pale yellow, Stargazer Tupelo is perfumed, spicy and generously textured, with subtle tannins and acidity providing length. Cellaring potential is three years.
