Marschall Shiraz
Wine
Sons of Eden Marschall Shiraz is a tribute to David Marschall. Fruit from the Marschall family vineyards at Tanunda and Ebenezer in the Barossa Valley form the backbone of the wine.
A variety of fermentation techniques are used, but all include extended skin contact. After cold soaking for around one week, the juice warms naturally to start fermentation.
Once the ferment is complete the wine is pressed to a mix of new and seasoned oak hogsheads for malolactic fermentation and maturation. It is then naturally clarified and bottled without filtration.
Deep garnet, Sons of Eden Marschall Shiraz is fresh, vibrant and juicy with dark berry flavours rounded out by a savoury edge. Cellaring potential is eight years.
