Sirocco Chardonnay

Pike & Joyce Sirocco Chardonnay is estate grown at Lenswood in the Adelaide Hills. The fruit is then handpicked, chilled and transported to the winery in the Clare Valley.

Most of the fruit is crushed and destemmed while some is pressed as whole bunches. The juice is fermented with wild yeasts in French oak barrels, followed by 8-9 months of maturation. Only a small portion of the barrels undergo malolactic fermentation.

Pale green, Pike & Joyce Sirocco Chardonnay has generous flavours of ripe stone fruit with textural oak complexity and a long finish. Cellaring potential is five years.
