Home Block Cabernet Sauvignon

Patrick of Coonawarra Home Block Cabernet Sauvignon is grown on the premium Home Block Vineyard. The vineyard surrounds the home of the Tocaciu family, who founded the winery.

The vines were planted in the 1970s and 1980s. At maximum, each produces just two kilograms of fruit. These low yields result in highly concentrated grapes.

Traditional winemaking techniques are used, including extended skin contact, gentle maceration and slow fermentation. The wine matures in new, tightly grained, medium toast French and American oak for 12 months.

Deep brick red, Patrick of Coonawarra Home Block Cabernet Sauvignon is full bodied with rich dark fruits, spicy French oak and fine tannins. Cellaring potential is 10 years.
