Wine

Mitchelton Print Shiraz, first released in 1982, is the pinnacle of Mitchelton winemaking. It is a blend of the most impeccable parcels of Shiraz each vintage.

Fastidious attention to crop levels ensures that only the best fruit is harvested. Once picked, it is separated into small parcels for fermentation in small open fermenters. Each ferment is carefully monitored over 14-20 days on skins.

The parcels are then pressed and transferred to a selection of tight grained French oak barrels, where they undergo malolactic fermentation and 18 months of maturation. Only the best barrels comprise the final blend.

Plum red, Mitchelton Print Shiraz has intense dark berry flavours balanced by a backbone of acid, tannin and spice. Cellaring potential is 10 years.
