Limited Release Chardonnay

Millbrook Winery Limited Release Chardonnay represents the top tier of Millbrook Chardonnay, handpicked from a selection of vineyards in Geographe and Pemberton.

The grapes are chilled overnight and whole bunch pressed. The unsettled juice is transferred directly to French oak barrels, mostly new and the remainder one year old. Fermentation occurs with wild yeasts at low temperatures.

The wine remains on lees with weekly stirring for the first 2-3 months, then monthly up until racking and blending. There is minimal fining prior to bottling.

Pale gold, Millbrook Winery Limited Release Chardonnay has rich stone fruit and citrus flavours with crisp acidity and a vanillin oak finish. Cellaring potential is five years.
