Riesling
Wine
Granite Hills Riesling is a compilation of estate grown grapes from various blocks. The granite soils and cool temperatures produce fruit with refined and persistent flavours.
The fruit is placed into an elevated crushing system, which gently moves the berries by gravity from the crusher to the press. This gentle approach continues throughout the winemaking to highlight the fruit's varietal flavours and fine natural acidity.
Light straw yellow, Granite Hills Riesling has been a mainstay of the winery since it was first produced in 1974.
It has soft citrus and minerally qualities with balanced natural acidity. Cellaring potential is seven years.
