Stevens Road Cabernet Sauvignon

Xanadu Stevens Road Cabernet Sauvignon is sourced from fruit grown on the low yielding Block 3 of the Stevens Road Vineyard at Boodjidup Brook, about three kilometres from the winery.

The grapes are crushed and destemmed for fermentation in small open fermenters. After fermenting for one week with regular aerated pump overs, the wine sees extended maceration on skins for 28 days.

It is then gently pressed and racked to new and seasoned French oak barriques for 16 months of maturation prior to blending and bottling without fining.

Deep red, Xanadu Stevens Road Cabernet Sauvignon is pure and beautifully structured, its fruit flavours and supple tannins mingling in a lingering finish. Cellaring potential is 10 years.
