Voyager Estate Chardonnay blends fruit from the estate's sustainably farmed coastal vineyards in Stevens Valley, Margaret River. They are all selectively hand harvested.
The grapes are a mix of Gin Gin and Bernard clone Chardonnay, each bringing different nuances to the wine. After cooling overnight, the fruit is whole bunch pressed and naturally fermented in French oak.
Partial malolactic fermentation builds texture and lowers the natural acidity of the final wine. It matures over 12 months with regular stirring before blending and bottling.
Pale straw green, Voyager Estate Chardonnay brings together a vibrant citrus line and layers of savoury complexity, leading to a mineral finish. Cellaring potential is 10 years.
