Wine
Torbreck Les Amis is a single vineyard Grenache. It is sourced from the dry grown Slade Vineyard, sited on an easterly aspect in the Greenock district of the Barossa Valley.
The grapes are destemmed into a cement vat where they ferment for eight days with twice daily pump overs. The juice is then gently basket pressed directly to half new French oak barriques.
Following 24 months of ageing the wine is racked, settled and bottled without fining or filtration. It is made only in small batches.
Vibrant ruby purple, Torbreck Les Amis has succulent red berry fruit intensity. It is a perfect balance of concentration, poise and elegance. Cellaring potential is 12 years.
