Thompson Estate Cabernet Sauvignon is comprised predominantly of Margaret River Cabernet Sauvignon, with tiny amounts of Malbec, Cabernet Franc and Merlot.

The grapes are gently processed into fermenters where they are tenderly pumped over three times a day. Gentle handling of the fruit ensures its varietal character and freshness are retained. The wine then matures in French oak for 15-18 months.

Crimson purple, Thompson Estate Cabernet Sauvignon is medium bodied with red berry flavours and succulent but firm tannins. Cellaring potential is 10 years.
