Reserve Chardonnay

Stonier Reserve Chardonnay is a blend of the estate's top Chardonnay, grown at special vineyards at the cool southern edge of the Mornington Peninsula.

Each vineyard component is whole bunch pressed separately and fermented in French oak barrels, up to 30% new. Malolactic fermentation is decided by the vintage.

Lees stirring builds texture in the wine. After around seven months of preliminary maturation, select parcels are blended and aged further prior to bottling.

Pale straw green, Stonier Reserve Chardonnay has white stone fruit flavours, puckering mineral acidity and creamy texture. Cellaring potential is five years.
