Seppelt Show Sparkling Shiraz sets a global benchmark for this uniquely Australian style of wine, pioneered by Seppelt winemaker Charles Pierlot in the 1890s.

Made only in exceptional vintages, Show Sparkling Shiraz draws on the best blocks of the St Peter's, Imperial and McKenzie Vineyards in Great Western, Victoria.

Whole berry fermentation occurs in small stainless steel tanks. The wine then matures in a large seasoned French oak vat for 12-18 months.

The French méthode traditionnelle produces the wine's natural effervescence in bottle. The wine then matures on lees for at least seven years. Each bottle is disgorged individually.

Dark maroon with purple hues, Seppelt Show Sparkling Shiraz has rich, bright fruit flavours belying its age. Sweet spices, and fine, mature tannins provide balance.

An iconic Australian sparkling. Cellaring potential is 10 years from release.
