Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon Merlot

Pierro Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon Merlot is the head of the Pierro household. It is a classic Bordeaux blend of 70% Cabernet Sauvignon, 20% Merlot and small portions of Cabernet Franc, Malbec and Petit Verdot.

The fruit is handpicked and each bunch sorted by hand. After being gently destemmed, the berries are sorted again, ensuring only the best fruit makes its way into the open fermenters.

Each variety ferments separately as hand plunged small batches. After gentle pressing, the wine matures for 12 months in new and seasoned French oak. Only the 10 finest barrels are selected for the final blend.

Once bottled, the wine is stored for 2-3 years prior to release.

Bright garnet, Pierro Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon Merlot is fragrant and elegant, but powerful, with silky smooth tannins. Cellaring potential is 10 years.
