Masters 8 Songs Shiraz
Wine
Peter Lehmann Masters 8 Songs Shiraz is named after the vocal ensemble musical 'Eight Songs for a Mad King', a favourite of winery founder Peter Lehmann.
The musical is known for its soft harmonies, which are mirrored by the wine's soft style.
The wine represents some of the oldest low yielding vineyards across the Barossa Valley. The grapes are fermented and macerated on skins for up to two weeks with partial barrel fermentation.
Following pressing and clarification, the wine matures in French oak hogsheads for 15-18 months. It is aged further in bottle prior to release.
A dense bright red, Peter Lehmann Masters 8 Songs Shiraz has soft red fruit flavours and velvety tannins. Cellaring potential is five years.
