Wine
Lake Breeze Cabernet Sauvignon draws from vines planted in the 1970s at the Follett family vineyard, on the famous Bremer floodplain at Langhorne Creek.
The vines are dry grown, relying on the winter flooding of the Bremer River caused by rainfall in the Mount Lofty Ranges. This flooding carries the vines through the dry summer months.
The fruit ferments in traditional open fermenters. The resulting wine matures in French oak barriques for 20 months prior to bottling.
Bright garnet, Lake Breeze Cabernet Sauvignon is a silky wine with black fruit flavours, oak nuances and a long finish. Cellaring potential is 10 years.
