Entity Shiraz
Wine
John Duval Wines Entity Shiraz is sourced from premium old vineyards in the Barossa and Eden Valleys. John Duval's time as Penfolds chief winemaker in the 1990s influences his winemaking.
The parcels from each vineyard are fermented separately in small stainless steel fermenters with the grape skins submerged. Each is pumped over twice daily. Some batches remain on skins for two weeks.
Before blending, the components mature in one third new French oak hogsheads for 15 months.
A rich red, John Duval Wines Entity Shiraz is full bodied and awash with vibrant red and blue fruit flavours, spice and fine tannins. Cellaring potential is 10 years.
