Scotsdale Shiraz
Wine
Howard Park Scotsdale Shiraz is a blend of the best parcels of Shiraz from the winery's vineyards at Frankland River and Mount Barker in Western Australia's Great Southern.
The fruit is picked and sorted by hand, then fermented in open vats and closed stainless steel fermenters. Some of the juice is run to barrel to complete fermentation, while the remainder is pressed at dryness.
Each parcel is matured separately for 18 months in new and seasoned French oak. The wine is fined with egg whites and filtered before bottling.
Dark plum, Howard Park Scotsdale Shiraz is an elegant cool climate Shiraz with opulent fruit flavours and supple tannins. Cellaring potential is 10 years.
