Wine
Grosset Polish Hill Riesling is grown in the Polish Hill Vineyard in the cool climate Clare Valley. Dry grown in silty, low fertility soils over hard rock, the site produces very low yields of unique fruit.
Close planted to three clones (two German and one rare local clone), the certified organic vineyard is entirely tended by hand to ensure pristine quality fruit is delivered to the winery at Auburn.
The grapes are crushed with only the free run juice collected. The juice ferments in stainless steel tanks in separate batches according to clone. The wine rests on lees for several months before bottling.
Pale gold, Grosset Polish Hill Riesling has intense pure citrus flavours that sit alongside a sharp line of acidity in an exquisitely long, dry finish.
An iconic Australian wine. Cellaring potential is 12 years.
