The Holy Trinity Grenache Shiraz Mourvèdre
Wine
Grant Burge The Holy Trinity Grenache Shiraz Mourvèdre is typically a blend of 40% Grenache, 35% Shiraz and 25% Mourvèdre. It is handpicked from old, dry grown Barossa Valley vines.
After destemming and crushing, the grapes ferment on skins for 7-8 days depending on the variety. Select parcels are pressed to stainless steel, while others remain for extended maceration.
When the desired level of tannin and flavour is achieved, the wine is pressed to large format 2,500 litre French oak foudre vats and smaller 500 litre puncheons to age for 18 months.
Vibrant crimson, Grant Burge The Holy Trinity Grenache Shiraz Mourvèdre has rich red fruit flavours, fine tannins and a long, textural finish. Cellaring potential is 12 years.
