Wine
Frankland Estate Smith Cullam Riesling is named for the estate's founders, Barrie Smith and Judi Cullam. It draws from low yielding Geisenheim clone vines planted in 1988 in the Isolation Ridge Vineyard.
The fruit is picked in the early morning and whole bunch pressed to French oak for fermentation. After four weeks the wine is chilled, stopping the ferment at the ideal balance of sugar, fruit weight and acidity prior to bottling.
Pale bright straw, Frankland Estate Smith Cullam Riesling is an elegant off dry Riesling. An impeccable balance of sweetness and acidity with a pristine finish.
It is made in limited quantities, only in the best vintages. Cellaring potential is seven years
