Margaret River Malbec

EVOI Margaret River Malbec is sourced from the estate vineyard at Wilyabrup in Margaret River.

The surrounding Indian Ocean fosters a Mediterranean climate and provides ideal growing conditions.

The wine is a small batch creation. The grapes see regular hand plunging and are pressed to French oak to finish primary fermentation. Malolactic fermentation occurs in barrel.

The wine matures in barrel for a further 12 months. After bottling it is cellared to gain complexity before release.

Dark purple, EVOI Margaret River Malbec is full bodied, with dark fruit flavours, supple tannins and a lasting finish. Cellaring potential is seven years.
