Cuvée Exceptionnelle Brut Rosé
Wine
Clover Hill Cuvée Exceptionnelle Brut Rosé is sourced from the Clover Hill vineyard at Pipers River in north-eastern Tasmania.
This limited release wine is made using the méthode traditionnelle, a French winemaking technique that includes bottle fermentation.
The wine's soft pink colour is created by the controlled maceration of the Pinot Noir fruit. It ages on yeast lees for at least three years. A small amount of Pinot Meunier is added prior to bottling to give the wine fragrance and weight.
Pale pink, Clover Hill Cuvée Exceptionnelle Brut Rosé is vibrant with a fine persistent bead and rich flavours of citrus and strawberry.
While best enjoyed young, cellaring potential is two years.
