Grains of Paradise Shiraz
Wine
Charles Melton Grains of Paradise Shiraz is a classic Barossa Shiraz, made from an old vine single vineyard block established in the early 1900s.
Located in the heart of the Barossa Valley, the vineyard's small berry bunches are destemmed but not crushed. They ferment for 10 days, with both pump overs and hand plunging.
The wine then undergoes malolactic fermentation in American oak barrels before maturation on lees, which can vary from 24-30 months depending on vintage.
Deep dark red, Charles Melton Grains of Paradise Shiraz is rich and dense with a soft tannic finish. Cellaring potential is 12 years.
