Castelli Estate Shiraz is a cool climate Shiraz sourced from the northern Frankland River in Western Australia's Great Southern region.

The wine is made at Castelli Estate's winery on Mount Shadforth in Denmark.

The fruit is cold soaked and given a clean, warm ferment with cultured yeasts. Skin maceration is achieved with twice daily pump overs. The juice spends extended time on skins.

The wine matures for at least 14 months in new and seasoned French oak.

Dark red, Castelli Estate Shiraz is full bodied with sweet, rounded tannins and integrated savoury oak. Cellaring potential is 10 years.
