Cape Mentelle Sauvignon Blanc Semillon is sourced from the estate Wallcliffe, Crossroads and Chapman Brook Vineyards in the cooler southern part of Margaret River.

The typical soils of these vineyards are free draining sandy loams with a high percentage of lateritic gravel. The wine is a blend of 60% Sauvignon Blanc and 40% Semillon.

The fruit is harvested in the cool of night to capture its fresh flavours and bright acidity. Extended fermentation takes place at very low temperatures in stainless steel, with a small portion fermented in oak.

Pale green straw, Cape Mentelle Sauvignon Blanc Semillon is vibrant with fresh pithy acidity and a mineral backbone. Best enjoyed young.
