Brown Magpie Single Vineyard Shiraz is handpicked from the estate vineyard at Modewarre near Geelong. The cool climate site was planted in the early 2000s.

The fruit is open fermented with some whole bunch and whole berry inclusion. The cap of grape skins is plunged several times a day. After extended maceration on skins, the wine matures for 15 months in French oak.

Vivid crimson, Brown Magpie Single Vineyard Shiraz has peppery black fruit flavours and seamless tannins. Cellaring potential is 10 years.
