Bindi Quartz Chardonnay is sourced from the original estate vineyard planted in 1988 at Mount Macedon. The wine is an emphatic statement of its vineyard.

The grapes are grown at the upper end of the vineyard in the most quartz riddled soil over sandstone, mudstone and clay. The quartz gives the fruit extra complexity, finesse and intensity.

The grapes are wild fermented in new and seasoned French oak, remaining in barrel on yeast lees over winter. It is racked at eight months and returned to barrel for a further three months before bottling.

Pale lemon, Bindi Quartz Chardonnay is intense with fresh citrus flavours, mineral length and a long, textured finish. Cellaring potential is seven years.
