Quercus Vineyard Pinot Noir
Wine
Bellvale Quercus Vineyard Pinot Noir is drawn from high density, cool climate plantings at the estate Quercus Vineyard in South Gippsland. It is a blend of several Pinot Noir clones.
The fruit is cold soaked, then open fermented with cultured yeast. After around three weeks, the wine is sent to a mix of new and seasoned French oak barrels to age for a minimum of 12 months. It is aged further in bottle before release.
Ruby red, Bellvale Quercus Vineyard Pinot Noir offers red berry flavours wrapped in velvety tannins and delicate spice. Cellaring potential is seven years.
