Bay of Fires Arras EJ Carr Late Disgorged is the pinnacle of the Arras brand. It pays tribute to the dedication of its maker, EJ Carr. It is a blend of 60% Chardonnay and 40% Pinot Noir.
Whole bunch pressing, primary fermentation on light grape solids, and malolactic fermentation of the base wines deliver sophistication and structure. A small percentage is fermented in new French oak.
The wine is fastidiously blended from only the best parcels of Tasmanian fruit before typically spending 12 years on lees in the winery's cool, dark cellar.
Deep straw, Bay of Fires Arras EJ Carr Late Disgorged has intensity, structural elegance and persistence of flavour.
