Rare Rutherglen Muscat
Wine
All Saints Estate Rare Rutherglen Muscat is made from Brown Muscat grapes from the estate's Wahgunyah vineyard planted in the 1920s.
Brown Muscat is a clone of the oldest and noblest variety of Muscat, Muscat Blanc à Petits Grains, first planted at All Saints Estate in the 1860s.
Rutherglen fortifieds are classified according to their blend age, marking a progression in richness, complexity and intensity of flavour. To be classified Rare – the highest classification – the blend must be a minimum of 20 years old.
Deep tawny, All Saints Estate Rare Rutherglen Muscat is a richly textured, luscious wine with layered, aged rancio flavours.
Having completed its ageing, the wine is ready to drink immediately.
