Grand Rutherglen Muscadelle

All Saints Estate Grand Rutherglen Muscadelle fruit has been grown at the winery since it was founded in 1864. The grapes are left on the vine until they are almost overripe, with many shrivelling into raisins.

Long, warm autumn days at Wahgunyah by the Murray River provide ideal growing conditions, allowing the fruit to ripen to the high Baume levels essential for the style.

The fruit is handpicked and crushed to release the sweet, concentrated juice. It is pressed after minimal fermentation and the juice prevented from fermenting further by the addition of high strength, neutral alcohol.

After settling for a few days, the wine is transferred to barrel for maturation. The wine is a blend of selected vintages, matured in large oak vessels and racked to bottle as required.

Golden amber, All Saints Estate Grand Rutherglen Muscadelle is luscious with rich malt, toffee and vanilla flavours. Drink within a year of purchase.
