Pinot Noir

Yeringberg Pinot Noir is drawn from the winery's estate vineyard at Coldstream in the Yarra Valley. The cool climate and silty clay soils with scattered buckshot gravel provide an ideal environment.

Following harvest the grapes are destemmed and crushed. During fermentation the juice is hand plunged thrice daily before pressing. The wine then matures in one third new French oak for 18 months before being bottled unfiltered.

Bright purple red, Yeringberg Pinot Noir has red fruit flavours, fine grained tannins and a crisp acidity. A classic Yarra Valley Pinot Noir. Cellaring potential is seven years.
