Limited Cuvée Grenache
Wine
Yelland & Papps Limited Cuvée Grenache is sourced from dry grown bush vines planted in 1935 in a tiny 0.2 hectare patch located at Marananga in the Barossa Valley.
The Limited Cuvée wines push the boundaries of Yelland & Papps winemaking. All the Grenache fruit is retained as whole clusters and placed into French oak puncheons where it ferments naturally on skins over many months.
The wine is then pressed from the skins to French oak, where it sees a small sulphur addition.
Deep red, Yelland & Papps Limited Cuvée Grenache has red berry flavours, very fine tannins and beads of acidity and minerality. Cellaring potential is seven years.
