The Master Cabernet Shiraz
Wine
Wolf Blass The Master Cabernet Shiraz is crafted from distinguished parcels of Barossa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon and Shiraz.
It was originally released to honour the 80th birthday of Wolf Blass founder Wolfgang Franz Otto Blass, a recognized master of regional and varietal blending. Today it is produced in exceptional vintages.
Post ferment, a portion of the Cabernet sees extended maceration on skins under an inert gas cover, lengthening and softening the tannins. The wine matures in new and seasoned French oak barriques to enhance its complexity and elegance.
Inky red, Wolf Blass The Master Cabernet Shiraz is a smooth, rich wine with ripe black fruit flavours, a sleek, silky texture and long, fine tannins.
An extremely limited release. Cellaring potential is 15 years.
