The Modern Cabernet Sauvignon

Voyager Estate The Modern Cabernet Sauvignon draws from organically farmed estate blocks grown on unique gravel and loam soils. The fruit is harvested by hand.

Fermentation takes place in a mix of open, static and concrete fermenters. Various techniques are used to work the cap of grape skins and build tannins. The ferments last for several weeks.

The wine is then pressed and transferred to a mix of new and seasoned French oak for maturation. The final blend often includes a small proportion of Merlot.

Dark red, Voyager Estate The Modern Cabernet Sauvignon is soft, complex and medium bodied with generous fruit flavours. Cellaring potential is 10 years.
