Macedon Ranges Gewürztraminer

Shadowfax Macedon Ranges Gewürztraminer is grown in the cool undulating landscape of Mount Macedon. The fruit is hand harvested in small batches.

The grapes are firmly whole bunch pressed to impart some skin contact character to the juice. A small parcel of fruit is foot stomped prior to pressing to add texture. The juice ferments naturally in seasoned French hogsheads to build further complexity.

Straw green, Shadowfax Macedon Ranges Gewürztraminer has fleshy fruit flavours, taut acidity and spicy phenolic structure. Cellaring potential is two years.
