Sauvignon Blanc
Wine
Sidewood Sauvignon Blanc is picked in small parcels from estate vineyards in the Adelaide Hills, situated 380 metres above sea level where the climate is cooler.
The fruit is transported to the winery's cool rooms within an hour of harvest. Once chilled, it is gently pressed and only the free run juice is taken for fermentation. Extended lees contact in stainless steel tanks builds complexity in the wine.
Very pale straw, Sidewood Sauvignon Blanc has tropical fruit flavours with a rich, round texture and a lingering line of acidity. Cellaring potential is three years.
