I Block Pinot Noir

TarraWarra Estate I Block Pinot Noir draws solely from I Block on the winery's Yarra Valley property, which began as an experimental planting in 1989.
The fruit is all D5V12 clone Pinot Noir, which ripens later than other clones on the property. It is handpicked and destemmed prior to fermentation and 1-2 weeks on skins.
The wine is then pressed and transferred to barrel for maturation. It is crossflow filtered before bottling.
Red purple, TarraWarra Estate I Block Pinot Noir offers intense red berry flavours, spice and a long finish. Cellaring potential is eight years.
