Grenache Mourvèdre Rosé
Wine
Tahbilk Grenache Mourvèdre Rosé draws on estate plantings at Nagambie Lakes in central Victoria. The fruit is picked early to retain its freshness and delicacy.
The grapes are crushed and pressed with as little oxygen as possible. The cold juice, including its pulp and solids, is mixed with nitrogen gas daily for four days: a technique favoured in the Rosés of Provence in France.
The juice is then racked clear and fermented with a specific Rosé yeast at 10-14°C over two weeks. The wine is filtered prior to bottling.
Pale pink, Tahbilk Grenache Mourvèdre Rosé is dry, savoury and spicy with vibrant red berry flavours and lively acidity. Best soon after release.
