Young Vine Pinot Meunier
Wine
Best's Young Vine Pinot Meunier is sourced from the winery's younger Pinot Meunier vines, planted in 1970 with cuttings from Henry Best's original 1868 vines.
This wine is a rare example of a Pinot Meunier table wine, since the variety is mostly used for sparkling wines. It is produced in small quantities, with minimal intervention and a light handed approach to oak.
Pale scarlet, Best's Young Vine Pinot Meunier is voluptuous with fresh red fruit flavours and a long, silky finish. Cellaring potential is seven years.
