Tallawanta Vineyard Shiraz
Wine
Brokenwood Tallawanta Vineyard Shiraz is a celebrated single site wine from the historic Tallawanta Vineyard, planted in 1920 at Pokolbin in the Hunter Valley.
On an east facing slope the fruit is always the first of Brokenwood's Shiraz to be harvested. It is then cold soaked for several days before fermentation. The oak regime for maturation is entirely French oak, a small proportion new.
Bright red, Brokenwood Tallawanta Vineyard Shiraz has red fruit flavours, fine tannins and a plush finish. Cellaring potential is 10 years.
